Roq La Rue is one of my favorite galleries in Seattle, bar none—they’re forever showing the most interesting contemporary artists.

Must go check out their 10th anniversary show. Travis Louie has a few pieces there (which sold in a flash), and he is sensational. I dream of the day I can afford one of his gentlemanly monster portraits with their bizarre, fantastical biographies, like Norman and Jenkins.
